DEPARTMENT OF PETROLEUM RESOURCES SEALS OFF 3 GAS PLANTS IN AKWA IBOM

The Department of Petroleum Resources in Akwa Ibom State says it has sealed off three illegal gas plants in the state.
The Operations Controller, DPR, Tamunoiminabo Kingsley-Sundaye, said DPR’s surveillance team uncovered the illegal gas plants in the Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area of the state.
Kingsley-Sundaye said the gas plants are situated in areas that pose a danger to residents of those areas and they lacked standard facilities.
