FEMALE POLITICIAN WANTS NASS TO LEGISLATE ON NATIONAL GENDER POLICY

A former governorship candidate in Abia state Blessing Nwagba has appealed to the National Assembly to make the National gender policy a law to enable more women politicians occupy elective positions in the country.
In an exclusive chat with Reach fm news Hon Nwagba a two time lawmaker in the Abia State House of Assembly says if it passed into law, political parties will be compelled to allow more women vie for positions.

She said Nigeria is still far away from achieving the National Gender Policy of thirty five percent affirmation
