HARMONISE MINIMUM WAGE FOR QUICK ASSENT – TUC TELLS NASS

The President of Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC), Bobboi Kaigama says there is need for the house of assembly to agree on the N30,000 national minimum wage bill to enable President Muhammadu Buhari give the required approval.

Kaigama spoke to newsmen in Lagos adding that the Nigeria Labour Congress has urged the President to sign and implement the new wage before the end of the 8th National Assembly.

The labour chief aded that the approval would be easy since the Federal Government has included it in the budget, though some states are yet to have it in their budget.
