IGP RE-ECHOES PRESIDENT BUHARI’S WARNING AGAINST BALLOT BOX SNATCHING

The acting Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, on Tuesday re-echoed
President MuhmmaduBuhari’s warning against ballot box snatching during the
forthcoming polls adding that the police would deal ruthlessly with anyone caught
in the act.
The IGP stated this during a breifing with the president, along with members of the
security community and intelligence community on the security situation in the
country.

Adamu, addressing newsmen after the meeting said they had come up with the
resolve to further provide adequate security within the country so that the
electorate will come out and cast their votes without any fear of molestation.
