NASARAWA POLICE ARREST INEC AD-HOC STAFF OVER ALLEGED $400 BRIBE

A returning Officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ad-hoc staff sent to Agyaragu Torfa ward has been arrested by police for manipulating result sheet of the presidential and National Assembly election in Nasarawa State.

The suspect was discovered to have altered the result sheet when party agents from the Ward noticed that the returning officer was presented different result sheet when he called to present the presidential and assembly election results.

Currently the culprit is the police custody for further interrogation.
