PDP MAY BOYCOTT KOGI SENATORIAL ELECTION

Ahead of the November 30 supplementary election in Kogi West Senatorial district, reports have emerged that the Peoples Democratic Party and the party’s senatorial candidate, Senator Dino Melaye may direct members of the party to boycott the election

 According to a statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan said that the party has not only lost interest in the electoral umpire but also rejected the scheduled supplementary election.

After the first round of polls in the court ordered re-run Senator Smart Adeyemi of the APC is leading with about twenty thousand votes before INEC declared the election inconclusive with about sixty thousand votes still up for grabs
