SENATE REACHES FINAL DECISION ON MINIMUM WAGE

The Senate has approved the N30,000 national minimum wage in addition to a N75,000 as penalty for non-compliance.

This agreement was made known by the Senate Committee on New Minimum Wage represented by Shehu Sani(Kaduna Central), who today, in a social media post  announced the approval.

Meanwhile, the senate president, Bukola Saraki charged the committee to expedite action on the matter to enable the Senate catch up with the House of Representatives which had already passed the bill.
