Written by on October 2, 2019

Former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode says President
Muhammadu Buhari’s planned visit to South Africa, following
the xenophobic attack on Nigerians is an “insult” to Nigerians
According to reports, Fani-Kayode in a tweet said Buhari should
have rejected the invitation extended to him by South African
president Ramaphosa.
He said a President does not reward a foreign power that has just
slaughtered his citizens with impunity with a state visit.
It could be recalled that Buhari’s spokesperson, Garba Shehu in
a statement said Buhari will depart Abuja today on a three-day
state visit to the Republic of South Africa following an
invitation by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
