XENOPHOBIA: NIGERIA IS RECALLING ITS HIGH COMMISSIONER TO SOUTH AFRICA – LAI MOHAMMED

The Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed says the Federal
Government will recall the country’s high commissioner to
South Africa.
Lai said the government is committed to protecting Nigerians
abroad.
He pleaded with Nigerians to remain calm and stop attacking
South African businesses across the nation.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Consul General to South Africa
Goodwin Adama says the Commission is yet to receive any
form of communication or recall on the matter.
He says rather, they are expecting the envoy deployed to South
Africa by the President.
