The Minister of State for Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has announced that plans are underway by the Federal Government to revisit the project for Nigeria’s national airline.
The minister made this known while defending the ministry’s budget before the Senate Committee on Aviation in Abuja saying the ministry had suspended the project to put adequate measures in place.
Sirika, who described the project, as President Muhammadu Buhari’s brainchild added that provisions have to be made to continue to fund activities to ensure that it is delivered.
The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Aviation, Adamu Aliero, who was present at the budget hearing, commended the minister for his efforts at repositioning the aviation sector.
